@BestMovieMom One of the most offensive trends in cinema is the mythologising of practical cinema. Alfonso Cuarón had access to an impressive and passionate VFX team who stitched together multiple takes into cohesive oners. Same as on Gravity. Double Negative and Framestore moved mountains.

Tenet fared better out of the cinema because of subtitles, rewind and volume control.

Interstellar, Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk and Oppenheimer are all overrated IMO.

@bmfshow Hard agree. Slop is just thoughtless generation of anything. AI tools can be channeled into purposeful forms. memes were filling the internet with slop long before Demis Hassabis ascended to deepmind.
