@CountBinface The reportage woudl give up because its a farce stunt, Farage can waste his money and time trying to secure a seat he had already secured (opening to accusations of wasting money when folks are sturggling) and vs Binface, Farace becomes the establishement vote in his own circus.
@JosephKahn Not hatery - this is a sober reality check. the hate will begin in the replies. the cult of "practical = good digital = bad" is what will destroy cinema. if we learn that oddessey=film=good then we'll get less films due 2 cost and lower audience due 2 inflated ticket prices
@BestMovieMom are you minded to correct the record on this @bestmoviemoments - to celebrate the reality of such artistry rather than the fiction you'd offered? the planning and synchronisationis undoubtably truthful but erasing the contributions of VFX is disingenuous.
@BestMovieMom One of the most offensive trends in cinema is the mythologising of practical cinema. Alfonso Cuarón had access to an impressive and passionate VFX team who stitched together multiple takes into cohesive oners. Same as on Gravity. Double Negative and Framestore moved mountains.
@Danimalish@RubenRos this is borderline delusional. the film was taken on merit, not gamed beacause of the pandemic.
Tenet fared better out of the cinema because of subtitles, rewind and volume control.
Interstellar, Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk and Oppenheimer are all overrated IMO.
@bmfshow Hard agree. Slop is just thoughtless generation of anything. AI tools can be channeled into purposeful forms. memes were filling the internet with slop long before Demis Hassabis ascended to deepmind.
But most AI posted online is slop, sadly.
@OlivioSarikas This is such a repulsive take.
First, the CG was top tier. it was the design and directoral intent that was lacking.
Second, please stop shitting on an industry you know nothing about.
@stefceretti@BestMovieMom As accomplished as Nolan is his refusal to celebrate his VFX artists is damaging. 90% of the audience buys into the fiction that he does everything practically. I once asked an LLM if X film (which i'd workd on) by Chris Nolan had CGI and it was sceptical.
@Hunter_Weiss I find it so amazing when people tell me that Visual AI has not got soul, and they blame the AI. Finger pointed at the AI like, 'There's no soul here.' You can't blame the AI. If there's not soul in the visual, it's because nobody put it there. And it's not the AI's fault."
@Bad_____bunny99 Surely the issue is not that its AI retouched, and moreso that its destroying the viewers read on the composition. not one of these improves the storytelling and in fact each of them make it harder to read.
@TheDutchRuler@IsThisA3DModel dude i think your twitter post agent is undergoing context collapse. launch your mcp servers on a new session or compress.
@TheDutchRuler@IsThisA3DModel A glimpse of things to come? what man says he made 5 RPG's in 10 minutes on seeddance by himself? you going to pay him $300 to play them?
and you do realise that 2/5 were already open RPG games. and that ones a IP not a title. this is pretty deluded.
@Artedeingenio dude could you have the good grace to at least call it "inferring" or "generating".
You are not animating anything here, at best that's a mistake of language at worst a lie and insult to the craft of animation.
@DavidMazur113 @Artedeingenio Mate, come on mate. call yourself an artist? Oscar here's on 11 posts a day man . he a grafter. Doesnt' even have time for a website of his "art".
@MulusuMursu@IsThisA3DModel no, these people are not looking at much at all. they are scrutinising even less.
But the biggset sin is - ok belle epoque style cartoon in french looking port. why?
