Resignation Without an Alternative Job Offer

I see someone resigning who doesn’t have a second offer ready, but I don’t see this as a reckless move-on the contrary, I see it as a strong message. The point is not about searching for a better opportunity.

It’s more about stepping away from an environment where they no longer feel comfortable or in their place. No one resigns “for nothing.”

They are driven by a poor work culture, frustrated leadership, or an environment that drains their motivation and self-esteem.

Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) President Pablo Virgilio Cardinal David thanked TV host Vice Ganda for condemning corruption but expressed opposition to his calls to bring back death penalty.

“Those with money can buy the best legal defense, delay trials indefinitely, or manipulate the system. The defenseless and powerless have no such protection. History, too, warns us: the law is often weaponized by those in power,” he said in his post on Monday.

During the anti-corruption rally on Sunday, Vice Ganda dared President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to imprison all corrupt public officials. He also urged to punish them with death penalty.

“Para sa akin, hindi nga sapat ang kulong eh. Dapat patayin ang mga korap na magnanakaw. Ibalik ang death penalty para sa mga korap,” he said.
