@wear_maro@Mark_Sisson I've tried several pairs, love them! I have one for walking the dogs in rocky terrain, and a pair for workouts in my home gym. They last a good amount of time too considering I walk the dogs everyday through lots of rough terrain and weather.
@graysenior@LiveAncestral Same! My LDL was 265, Dr. offered to put me on a statin even though all of my other measurements are totally fine, and I'm very lean and active. CT scan showed my CAC is less than 1!! My Dr. is in shambles, has no idea what LMHR is.
@offenton72800@mamboitaliano__ Right, so Mambo's conversion shows it's about 2x as expensive for gas. But don't forget we all have pickup trucks in Texas so we need cheap gas!
The University of Nebraska debunks the manipulation behind cow farts/burps and methane:
“They have not accounted for the capture part, they only account for methane being released. Carbon capture in soil and grass - helped out by cow grazing and manure - can far outweigh the emissions from cattle. Grasslands can take up more CO2 and carbon in the soil and plants, that offsets the CO2 that cattle are producing but it also offsets the methane.”
When you eat a steak, you're eating the end product of a process that:
(1) captured solar energy through photosynthesis
(2) stored it as cellulose humans can't digest
(3) had it fermented by 200+ species of specialized bacteria
(4) converted into volatile fatty acids
(5) synthesized into bovine muscle tissue with all essential nutrients
(6) biohydrogenated the fats into stable forms
The entire supply chain runs on grass, water, and time.
Our "advanced" food technology requires power grids, supply chains, processing facilities, and still produces nutritionally far inferior products.
Sometimes the old way isn't just better. It's the only way that actually works at scale.
