Respectfully, @djunaperkins, this is a political cheap shot and beneath your dignity.

You know nothing about the federal investigation, what evidence they had, how they investigated and why they got involved.

I had never met @adamdeitch before the Read case, but I am supporting him in this race because he has displayed the ethics, judgment and experience that are necessary to be district attorney.

In an office that featured festering incompetence and poor judgment, Adam is the breath of fresh air that is necessary to establish the office’s credibility and commitment to justice.

You owe him an apology.

Today I attended Matthew Farwell's hearing. At one point his attorney, when discussing HIS DNA on the murder weapon, said "...and the media has eaten it up." Well, Joanne, it does make sense that the media report on a bombshell piece of new evidence, but like most things you said today, I disagree.

Sure, there are a few headlines and short segments here and there, but at this point Sandra Birchmore's case should be synonymous with the incompetence and/or corruption in the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office. In the eyes of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Matthew Farwell is not just "innocent until proven guilty" (as it stands federally right now), but he is "innocent." Point blank, period, because according to the NCDAO, Sandra took her own life.

Not only did Michael Morrissey, Greg Connor and the rest of the NCDAO do Matthew Farwell the biggest favor by letting him avoid charges completely, they are now handing him his defense: "Sandra took her own life, see that's what the Commonwealth of Massachusetts says." And every single voter in Norfolk County should be well aware of this. Let's talk about it tomorrow morning 🩵
