@ZachCostello_@TheMilkBarTV Many people had the exact same experience.
I had never seen Erika before; the 1st time I saw her speak I thought she was incredibly brave, etc. etc.
Then I started noticing the weird stuff. ๐
@ElofsonJess@RabbiPoupko "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit."
heck of a punchline!
@ElofsonJess@RabbiPoupko How about that parable Jesus told about the tenants?
At harvest time the landowner sent servants to collect his fruit. The tenants killed the servants. He sent more servants and the tenants killed them, too. Finally, he sent his son, thinking "they will respect my son."
92-YEAR-OLD Climbs Tall Nursing Home Fence to ESCAPE
This was the best thing on the internet this weekend
The video is stunning, and it resonated not just because it was a remarkable physical achievement but because:
1. It shows that age is just a number
2. The human spirit and desire for freedom is timeless
3. Being in shape, maintaining muscle mass, and not being insulin resistant... can keep anyone remarkably agile no matter how old
4. Nursing homes usually suck
5. We need to share more inspiring stories, so society is not so surprised that over-85s are doing great (I see many all the time with more vitality than people 20 years younger)!
