Here's what's happening, as far as I can tell.

-The US agreed with Hamas to release Edan Alexander in exchange for lifting the siege on Gaza.

-Edan was released, but Trump betrayed his promise. Israel continues to starve Gazans.

-It seems the US objective was to clear out this one US-Israeli citizen prior to letting Israel impose its violent endgame on Gaza.

-Meanwhile, the US has been pressing Libya to take 1 million Palestinians, who will be ethnically cleansed by Israel.

-Libya... the US is using the country they destroyed in 2011, and which remains extremely weak and vulnerable to imperial pressure.

Evil doesn't even begin to describe what we are witnessing. All with the complicity of Western leaders and the cowardly silence of the Western press.

Speaking at a mass march in central London on Saturday, Scottish historian William Dalrymple delivered a powerful speech condemning Britain’s historic and ongoing role in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

The demonstration, marking the 77th anniversary of the Nakba, drew an estimated 600,000 people who marched to Downing Street in solidarity with Palestine.

Speaking near Downing Street, he highlighted the British Empire’s role in disarming Palestinians, enabling the 1948 catastrophe expulsion of 750,000 people, and the dehumanising views of figures like Winston Churchill.

He also brought to attention today’s UK government of enabling Israel’s genocide in Gaza through military and diplomatic support — including over 500 Royal Air Force surveillance flights allegedly aiding Israeli war crimes.

Dalrymple called out UK politicians for supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza while denouncing the silence of institutions like the BBC, and urged Britain to take responsibility by supporting Palestinian statehood and justice.

#Gaza : another night of horror in the middle areas.

Tents up in flames due to an airstrike on the courtyard of Al Aqsa hospital where people sought shelter.

Meanwhile, in the same area, an @UNRWA school was hit with 20 people reported killed. The school was planned to be used for the #polio vaccination campaign which started today.
We had to cancel the vaccination campaign in that school due to severe damage.

#Gaza is a never ending hell.
All of this must not become the new norm.

It is an unspeakable tragedy that innocent children continue to be killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, with another 20 children becoming the latest victims of this conflict.

A school being used as a shelter in central Gaza was shelled, killing at least 22 people, including 15 children.

In a separate incident, five children were reportedly killed by a drone strike while playing on a street corner in northern Gaza.

We simply cannot accept the violence that Palestinian children continue to face as normal.

We are continuing to urge the UK government to use their power and influence to secure an immediate, definitive ceasefire, and suspend all arms sales to the Government of Israel.

Yesterday, within the walls of Al-Awda Hospital, a woman arrived who had tragically lost her life after a shell targeted her home. To our shock, we discovered she was nine months pregnant. Overwhelmed with both sorrow and hope, we decided, with simple means and basic equipment, to perform a cesarean section to save the baby. Miraculously, we managed to bring the child into the world, healthy and strong.
But our joy was incomplete; his mother had died before he could know her, before he could feel her love and warmth. This madness must end. It is a tragedy that should stir our humanity and make us realize the enormity of what we are enduring.
