Trade unions voting against women’s existing Equality Act rights is one of the biggest concerns in equality and diversity today. I shouldn’t be surprised because Trade Unions often have to be dragged to supporting women’s rights

Had a brilliant Saturday with @BluevaleCC for the reopening of the Reidvale Centre. @JaniceMerrick1 and I enjoyed spreading the word that you can sing to breathe at our Dennistoun @cheynegang_COPD group. Particularly loved the new 80s themed Rewind Cafe. Lunch anyone?
Community Links Workers are critical in supporting frontline GP services and putting money in peoples' pockets during the cost-of-living crisis.
Glasgow HSCP and ScotGov must agree a deal to protect posts and the service before Christmas. #SaveCLPs#FMQs@PaulJSweeney
Even at the lower end estimate of the cost for a council tax freeze, the same funding could instead be used for direct additional social security payments of £200 to people receiving disability or carer's payments.

Had a lovely time on Saturday, helping customer's make ghost bath bombs and promoting the Cheyne Gang Charity at the Lush charity pot stall. This wee customer is my niece who came along to support! #SingToBreathe#MakesLinks
Life expectancy in Scotland continues to fall for the first time in modern history.
Government response? Cut funding for vital Community Link Workers at GP surgeries in Glasgow's most deprived communities from 70 to 42.
Solidarity with @GMBScotOrg members protesting this today.
CLPs provide vital support to Glasgow’s most deprived communities helping to put money in people’s pockets and support frontline GP services.
@PaulJSweeney supports our calls for the Scottish Government and Glasgow HSCP to sit down with GMB to protect posts. #SaveCLPs
Glasgow HSCP has proposed to cut Community Links Practitioners by 40%.
Our members are calling on Humza Yousaf as a Glasgow MSP to protect these posts.
Cuts will only deepen inequalities in the city's most impoverished communities in a cost-of-living crisis. #SaveCLPs
“Having a CLP has been the biggest (and quite possibly the only) positive change since the new contract for both patients and staff”. @HumzaYousaf please take note @deependgp.

@lokiscottishrap It's true, sadly. More than a third of the workforce facing redundancy and those left expected to cover the same amount of work and more. Will run the service and the remaining staff into the ground. We really appreciate your support in raising the profile of these cuts.
