I need to share my own version which uses Mattson NO prep followed by addition of O2 (gives a bonus Avogadro's Law demo)
Haven't got around to that because I did Avogadro's Law recently for @RSC_EiC anyway! :)
@alomshaha I have to confess I bought a lemon and I was SORELY tempted to brown off the onion... the idea of chucking it in the water as-is felt wrong.
