El norte de Chile necesita recuperar urgentemente la conectividad aérea entre sus principales ciudades.

Los últimos años han demostrado lo vulnerable que puede ser nuestra conectividad terrestre desde #Iquique.

Derrumbes en la Ruta 5 hacia Arica y, más recientemente, lluvias y aluviones que han afectado gravemente las rutas hacia Tocopilla y Antofagasta han dejado a Tarapacá expuesta al aislamiento.

En pleno siglo XXI, y con más de US$100.000 millones en proyectos mineros proyectados para el norte de Chile durante las próximas décadas, resulta difícil entender que ciudades estratégicas como Iquique, Arica, Calama y Antofagasta no cuenten con una verdadera red de vuelos interregionales.

No se trata solo de turismo. Se trata de resiliencia territorial, minería, negocios, servicios, emergencias y calidad de vida.

Es hora de que vuelvan los vuelos interregionales y de volver a conectar por aire las ciudades del norte de Chile.

En video denuncia podrás ver que fueron sorprendidos en el río Futaleufú, que es un río protegido por ley, y expulsados del lugar por guías.

Son la misma empresa que hace unos días hizo lo mismo en islote conejo en CHILOÉ, también un AREA PROTEGIDA por ley.

Curious about academic impact? Tired of rankings? Today we are introducing Rankless (https://t.co/FCy11731uy) a new data exploration platform that can help you explore the academic impact of thousands of universities. All universities produce impact that is specific to certain topics and geographies, but rankings flatten that information. Rankless wants to change that.

Consider a comparison between the University of Utah and the University of Vienna, two universities ranked similarly in the Shanghai ranking. These universities differ in their geographical and topical footprint. The University of Utah specializes in Neuroscience and Medicine whereas the University of Vienna specializes in Physics, Astronomy, and Environmental Sciences. Their geographic impact is also quite different. Utah receives a large fraction of citations from medical centers in the U.S., Canada, and Israel, whereas Vienna receives many citations from technical institutes in Austria, Germany, and Hungary. These differences are easy to explore in Rankless but hard to see in rankings.

Rankless was developed by a talented team at the Center for Collective Learning at Corvinus University (@uni_corvinus). It was brought to life by Endre Mark Borza (@endremborza), a Hungarian economist and data engineer at CCL with the help of Máté Barkóczi, a Hungarian designer form MOME, and Veronika Hamar executive director at CCL.

By moving beyond rankings, Rankless offers a fresh perspective on how universities influence each geography and topic, emphasizing diverse forms of impact and providing a richer understanding of academic influence.

🚨 Nuevo incidente de ciberseguridad afecta a clientes y trabajadores de Banco Santander en Chile, Uruguay y España.

Según la CMF, el hecho fue informado el pasado 10 de mayo y, al parecer, la brecha de datos tendría origen en España. No se menciona la cantidad de cuentas/registros/datos personales que fueron robados.

"Grupo Santander ha tenido conocimiento de un acceso no autorizado a una base de datos alojada en un proveedor. No hay información de claves y contraseñas comprometidas."

Nuevamente, proveedores tecnológicos y cadena de suministro, un vector de acceso en tendencia 🔥.
