@soOverThisCrap5 crying might be a sign of weakness for you but for us it is shows our empathy for our people and fuels us with more power, but you wouldn't know
I am in tears as I write this, my heart goes to everyone from Arjun, Avanish, ananya and all other comrades who faced brutality today. What nerve-racking images and macabre recollections. More power to you all!
Amit Shah you will pay the price, no matter how long it takes!
Please see this video and AMPLIFY. Arjun is my dear friend and he recounts his detention from yesterday (11th October). This is completely harrowing and infuriating!

Everyone has been released from the Pandhwala Khurd detention centre. This is what happened. This is the impunity the police is walking around with. This is what happens after the SC orders no arbitrary detentions.
Daughters of India are being assaulted, slapped, manhandled by male police officers, detained at night, and attacked by RSS goons.
WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH! RISE IN RAGE!
the outright show of violence, assault and sheer brutality towards comrades/ friends/ women/ minors, surpassed all levels of "protocols" and parliamentary dignity today. @rashtrapatibhvn must take urgent cognisance of this!
Manhandled, dragged, assaulted n misbehaved inside a police vehicle and dumped by the roadside - for the crime of speaking to the media.
This is not merely an assault on an MP. It is an assault on democratic freedoms and the rule of law. More chillingly, it happened within hours of the Supreme Court issuing directions to safeguard peaceful protest and constitutional rights.
I have written to the Hon’ble President of India @rashtrapatibhvn , the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha @VPIndia and the Chief Justice of India seeking urgent intervention and fixing accountability for the police personnel, and action on the question of parliamentary privilege.
The Government cannot intimidate democracy into silence. It cannot substitute the force of the baton for the force of debate. And it shouldn’t expect the people to surrender their constitutional freedoms merely because those in power find dissent inconvenient. The strength of a democracy lies not in its capacity to suppress dissent, but in its ability to address it.
A friend was also detained with this group. He, and the others were brutalized inside the detention vans. The lawyers were not let in for a very long time. As per the latest update they are released.

One of the detained SFI comrade is unconscious after all the kicking and beating.
The police is not even ready to stop the vehicle or open the windows.
We witnessed a rare moment of protest inside fortress Jantar Mantar: the economist and activist Jean Dreze and other student activists picked up moments after they began their protest.
