A product should be judged by its quality and performance, not by whether it is Indian or from another country. People want a good product, not just an Indian label on it.
Truly heartbreaking, @SagarAwatade. 💔
This is one of MANY painful stories I’ve seen in desi tooling and manufacturing. The “chalta hai” mindset doesn’t just waste money, it kills dreams and keeps us dependent on imports.
We visited the local toolmakers he commissioned and tried our best to salvage what we could, but to no avail. 🙏🏾
Sometimes it’s best to cut your losses and move forward.
Some succeed. Most learn expensive lessons. What matters is how you pick yourself up, learn, and keep going.
Sagar hasn’t given up, in fact he has doubled down.
We’re now working closely with him to get this right and deliver the quality @ORACURA products deserve.
Huge respect to every founder who has the courage to take the leap and try building locally.
To anyone planning to start tooling or manufacturing:
You don’t have to learn hard lessons the painful way.
Before you begin any tooling project, reach out to me. I’ll guide you to the best of my ability, no strings attached.
That’s my promise.
Let’s obsess over quality.
Bharat deserves THE BEST. 🇮🇳
People respect you more when they don't see you often. Even parents. Trust me. It's strange how distance rearranges love, how absence restores what closeness erodes. When people are deprived of your presence, they start seeing you clearly again, not through habit but through awareness. Proximity dulls perception. Space sharpens it. That's just how the human mind works.
pro tip: get good at sounding confident even when you know nothing. ask questions when essential, and trust yourself to figure the rest out.
because everything is figureoutable.
