We don’t hype Dinkar enough. Read these four stanzas to witness absolute genius! Every word remains undeniably true across time, generations and species.
(You tried forgiveness, patience, and sacrifice, but did Duryodhana ever back down because of your restraint?)
(The more humble you were before your enemies, the more they dismissed you as a coward.)
(When a person becomes excessively soft and passive, they lose the healthy fear or respect that their strength and valor ought to command in others.)
(Forgiveness is a noble attribute only for a venomous snake that commands fear. What value or dignity is there in the "forgiveness" of a snake that has no teeth, carries no venom, and is inherently harmless and meek?)

Is this how higher dimensional beings see us - every moment at once?
Starting to understand what Vonnegut meant by humans being “great millipedes” - clearly it applies to our four legged friends too!

GODFATHER OF AI ADMITS HE WAS WRONG ABOUT RADIOLOGISTS
geoffrey hinton predicted in 2016 that within about 5 years radiologists wouldnt be reading scans anymore
10 years later he gives two reasons he got it wrong
first, making scans cheaper and faster didnt mean hospitals suddenly needed fewer radiologists. it meant they could just do more scans
and second, he admits he didnt really understand the job itself
his picture of a radiologist came mostly from one former student who spent his time reading scans and barely talking to people
the AI part actually went pretty close to plan. machines got really good at reading scans
but making one part of a job cheaper doesnt automatically make the whole job disappear
AI can shrink a task without shrinking the job
Exatamente.
• membros posteriores funcionais → pequenas estruturas internas vestigiais
This stuff works. A large new patch of alopecia areata on my scalp disappeared with it in less than a month and remarkably, the male pattern baldness that hadn’t reduced even after a year plus of minoxidil - fenasteride has got a lot less. Applying a coin sized dose once daily.
If you’re excellent at getting things done, consistent, and super-reliable, but aren’t getting to the next level as a leader, chances are extremely high that it’s because you are not simulating before communicating.

Like Samuel L. Jackson, Naseeruddin Shah plays himself in every movie. It's a great performance, but it's always the same guy either amplified or muted. Compare with someone like Ranveer Singh who pulled off Konkani Commander(Bajirao), Mumbai Subaltern Muslim(Gully Boy), Turkic Invader(Padmaavat), Indian Spy(Dhurandhar) like a chameleon. Felt authentic and indicates range. Doesn't help that Shah is a pompous old fart prone to verbal diarrhea constantly diminishing the achievements of more illustrious peers like Amitabh Bachchcan.
A Stanford professor stood in front of a full lecture hall and told them that depression has almost nothing to do with sadness. Then he wrote two words on the whiteboard that nobody in the room could define. Anhedonia. Psychomotor retardation. That, he said, is the actual illness.
The man is Robert Sapolsky, the neurobiologist who built his career following wild baboons across Kenya to measure what stress does to a living body.
What makes the video worth 52 minutes is not the subject. It is the method.
No slides. No notes he ever glances down at. One camera, one whiteboard, and a man taking depression apart the way a neurologist takes apart a stroke.
He is doing something deliberate, and it takes a while to catch. Every time the material could soften into sympathy, he hauls it back into biology. Hormones. Neurotransmitters. Genes that do nothing whatsoever until life goes wrong, and then decide everything.
Somewhere in the middle he says one sentence about depression that viewers have been pulling out of this lecture for 16 years. It is 5 words long. It reads like a contradiction until he unpacks it.
Under the video, sleepy_and_caffeinated quoted that exact sentence and wrote two words beneath it. That got me. 4.3 thousand people agreed.
Johnny_boy777 said it from another angle. The best thing about the internet, he wrote, is that any ordinary person can sit in on this without ever enrolling at Stanford. 2.6 thousand likes.
16 years old. 6.2 million views. 9410 comments. One of 25 lectures in the Stanford course Human Behavioral Biology, and every one of them is free.
Most people assume they understand depression because they have felt bad. 52 minutes is enough to learn they were describing something else entirely.
52 minutes. 5 words. It is in the video.
Thank you, uncle, for this wisdom.
Excuses.
Many are celebrating the kind of abuse a 75-year-old man, who sits on the chair of the Prime Minister of India, faced at the hands of the protesters. They are calling it an example of his "aura" being damaged. It is much more than that. It shows how degraded a section of the young generation that gathered at the protest site has become, and how comfortably they could hurl abuse without any regret or shame. It also raises questions about how parenting and schooling have failed them. This aspect of the protests should neither be brushed aside nor celebrated.
Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
This is exactly why governments get away with zero accountability. Every time there’s a paper leak, result controversy, corruption allegation, or administrative failure, an army of fake patriots floods social media to defend the system instead of demanding answers.
A 17 year old student raises a complaint with evidence? They call him Pakistani. Students demand transparency? They call them propaganda bots. Someone questions authorities? You’re ruining India’s image.
No, idiots. Corruption, incompetence, paper leaks and silencing students ruin the country’s image not people exposing them.
These social media nationalists don’t care about justice, students, or the country. Their entire personality is blind political worship. They treat accountability as treason & criticism as anti national activity. Even after media interviews verified the student’s existence & complaint, these clowns kept abusing minors instead of questioning the system.
Real patriotism is demanding better institutions. Bootlicking every failure of the system is not patriotism, it’s cowardice disguised as nationalism. Truth is you’re the real threat to this nation, you’re the only anti national element. Fakeass clowns fr 🤡
Evil websites like Libgen, Z-library, and Sci-Hub had pirated millions of academic books and papers.
They've been shut down, and rightly so.
We shouldn't use them anyway. We should make billion-dollar academic publishers richer.
Anyway, here's how to access these libraries:
🚨DO NOT DO THIS!
