Here in Manila for 2 weeks now & I’ve been saying this since I arrived. Prices are equivalent to where I live - Berlin - except for services. Lumilipad lang ang Php 1K, wala ng value ang Php 100. How can people get by??!?

It makes no sense how expensive things are in Manila. It is definitely more expensive than Bangkok and KL. And respectfully, the quality doesn’t reflect the prices. Just random ass mediocre food on Grab is 5.5USD. How do people survive here 😨
