Activism post-social media is only performative. Old-school activists used to work their ass off. They sacrificed their lives. Heck, the administration used to really respect those activists.

Activism these days has been reduced to heckling and dumbfuckery. You think crying on a reel is activism? You think making weird faces and dancing like morons is activism? You think challenging the writ of the state by pelting stones is a revolution? You think molesting female journalists and hitting male journalists is kosher?

Most of the replies on my timeline are basically an appeal to emotion. That is a fallacy. Honestly, other than @ARanganathan72, I have not read one person who gave tangible suggestions. Most people are a bunch of dumbfucks.

1. So we should digitise exams, and they will solve a lot of the problems. But then will all state governments agree? Because a ton of them have infrastructural gaps. So maybe we have to tell the governments to ramp up that infrastructure?

2. We need to get rid of the middlemen in this examination business. A great suggestion I read was using the analogy of the DBT.

3. We need to send social messages to kids and their parents that there is more to life than an exam. The Indian culture also needs some tweaking. Yes, academic excellence matters. But can we balance it out a bit?

4. Can we finally accept that the state by nature itself is a giant problem and we need more capitalism? How do we get the state out of exams? Like the passport office has the state at the last level.

The problem is this country is still 3000 USD per capita, and the so-called fucktards (activists) expect 60000 USD per capita solutions. They ruin everything they touch. They oppose data centres. A bunch of policy illiterates. Fuck all of you.
