The team at CWT has been working around the clock on our website this past week. There are tons of new features, with many more coming. Our primary focus in this latest batch of updates has been on the weather side. The site now features NEXRAD L2 radar data, address-specific data (including, but not limited to, hourly weather outlooks and nearby observations). CWT now also has its own custom HRRR Cross-Sections and weather products. This is only the beginning for us; the site is constantly evolving, so stay tuned! #CAwx #Weather
claude fable, activate wet claude mode and make me the worlds best radar app in rust, include on device weather model processing, soundings, mesoanalysis, low-level tilt loops, euro/japan radar, satellite, and make no mistakes

@coolingreviews@GoddenThomas@dylan522p If a storm chaser can win 50k just because Facebook based small business reposts a TikTok with copyright footage, pretty sure this would be much easier
@GoddenThomas@coolingreviews@dylan522p This is such a stupidly easy win in court for you btw, I’ve seen far less egregious things from far smaller companies cost them $50k in a copyright suit
@codetaur https://t.co/nJMHUmMF50 oh i forgot to plug my hermes agent plugin. Also works seamlessly as a codex mcp or claude mcp (i dont use claude so idk if claude mcp is different). All the tools in rustwx but with python binds to make it easier for agents
@SciPritchard@FastCompany@NVIDIAAI@adele_peters btw think you'd appreciate this from my day1 StormScope testing. First AI model i've used that has actually been able to properly initiate convection on 3/15/25. Its such a good model, literally the gpt-4 moment for ai weather models imo
you think you're dumb for that? i've told countless weather nerds about it and everyone is still just using metpy/python anyway because its all they know lmao. But the main benefit imo of rust here is that you can seamlessly multi process all gribs without using eccodes (C) which is an absolute pain in the ass when paired with python, and will constantly just silently fail, but rust solves that
@SciPritchard@FastCompany@NVIDIAAI@adele_peters I've been excited about that dataset existing for weeks now. Unfortunately, i am just a lowly hobbyist training with 16tb data + 5090 at home lol
@codetaur Definitely understand and I hope you do more weather stuff. The intersection of vibe coding and people who can display weather data in a meaningful way is very small
@OpenAI@sama@thsottiaux Ty for the pen! I think there may have been a mistake though, it says “Pro since ‘24” when I’ve been a pro subscriber since January 2023. I will accept a codex rate limit reset for pro subscribers as an apology, thank you 🙏
