Building on the success of the stakeholders' workshop on NIN enrollment for vulnerable and marginalised populations held earlier this week, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) convened another session today. This meeting, supported by Nigeria Digital Identity for Development, focused on the crucial roles of communication and stakeholder engagement in the foundational Identity program.

The discussion centred on strategies to enhance enrollment, particularly for vulnerable populations, and foster collaboration among stakeholders. NIMC aims to promote inclusive and sustainable identity management practices by leveraging effective communications and stakeholder engagement.

Today, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), with the support of the Nigeria Digital Identification 4 Development Project, organized a stakeholders' workshop on NIN enrollment for vulnerable and marginalized populations.

Key stakeholders from government, civil society, and community organizations converged to discuss innovative strategies and solutions to enhance access to essential services for disadvantaged groups. The workshop fostered meaningful collaborations, identified best practices, and paved the way for inclusive and sustainable enrollment initiatives that prioritize the needs of the most vulnerable.

Also, pls build quality checks when one joins the system - before accepting the PF deposits. It becomes extremely difficult to deal with old employers and systems when one needs to withdraw.

For married women, it is very difficult to produce 3 docs with father's name and one's married name. I am struggling to get this change done. Only my PAN and passport have my name as per Aadhaar and father's name. Pls help 🙏.

The process can be hugely simplified and made people friendly.

I am struggling to withdraw my own money for last many months because of inefficient processes at EPFO end. Pls define processes assuming people own their money and not govt.

@socialepfo Thirdly, if the employer is not taking action in approving transfer, what can employees do? Large companies have a faceless HR outsourced to a 3rd party and no way to reach them. Getting any changes done or action taken by these companies is impossible unless govt asks.

I have been struggling to withdraw my PF amount for many months. I have 3 PF accounts from 3 different employers linked to a single UAN. While the last job's got paid after a struggle, getting the other 2 "transferred" is a nightmare.

Secondly, why is transfer request canceled by field office when UAN, Aadhaar and PAN are same and difference is only in missing middle name or name being in initials vs full name?
