@thedugoutnotes@AlexReimer1 Tell yourself whatever you want. They had the option, they chose confrontation and hate. Being an adult and a professional player you really think they had no clue of the rules? Maybe you are an idiot right along side them.
@JeffStanek1 They didn't require anyone to wear the pride hats just like they wouldn't be required to wear hats with a cross on it. The players chose to, then want to pretend they got persecuted for breaking the collectively bargained rules. They dont have to play baseball, they choose to.
@thedugoutnotes@AlexReimer1 What the hell are you talking about? This isnt little league, these are grown men playing professionally. Literally 1 week ago a player chose not to wear the hat.
@Dook_Buck@AlexReimer1 You said a meltdown happens if they don't wear the hat? I show you it doesnt bc you didnt even know it happened a week ago. Now you say that's not the issue?
@davidmcc1975@WillFlandersWI MLB strictly prohibits any unauthorized writing, messages, or alterations on uniforms and playing equipment. Under the CBA rules, players cannot "write, attach, affix, embroider or otherwise display nicknames or messages". This rule applies uniformly, regardless of the content.
@davidmcc1975@WillFlandersWI It has nothing to do with being Christian. You're making it that. The rulebook says they can't write anything to alter the uniform. You cool if a player writes "God isn't real" on his hat?? My guess is you would lose your mind bc it doesn't align with your beliefs.
@GGeordinho@AlexReimer1 It's only a dead word to someone who wants to pretend they aren't homophobic but pass it off as being a good Christian instead.
@Dook_Buck@AlexReimer1 I didn't melt down at all. I just find it odd they can take a "principled stand" literally any day but instead decide to be homophobic. A principled stand would have been choosing to not wear the hat. Instead, they took the "I know better than you bc I'm christian" route.
@thedugoutnotes@AlexReimer1 They didn't force them to do anything. They had the option to wear their normal hats. They chose to wear them so they could be homophobic in public.
@davidmcc1975@AlexReimer1 If you think colored letters on a hat desecrated your religious activism, then you have just admitted your religious activism is degenerate.
