Advocating for forgiveness of the advance Medicare loan payments made to hospitals in response to COVID-19.Tell Congress to support #ForgivenessForTheFrontlines
Hospitals will lose over $300 billion due to Coronavirus this year. Congress and @realDonaldTrump have only given 20% of relief funding. Now they’re turning their back on hospitals when the country is facing another surge. Hospitals will close. Employees will lose their jobs
leaders in Washington said they would make hospitals whole for their losses now they’re saying “hospitals knew what they were getting into” taking Medicare advance payment loans & they will not be forgiven. We need to save our hospitals now. Forgive the loans this crisis created.
Greater New York Hospital Association has it right. Congress needs to listen and act. Forgiveness of these loans is critical for many hospitals to survive. @SenGillibrand@SenSchumer@RepStefanik
Pennsylvania #hospitals remain the primary source of COVID-19 testing and treatment. 🏥 Full forgiveness of #Medicare accelerated payments will allow them to rebuild and recover from the impact of this public health crisis.
https://t.co/PJxCNPxqRg this is very unfortunate. Most of our leaders in Washington are turning their backs on Hospitals. Hundred of billions of dollars lost and many layoffs and furloughs due to COVID. Gov’t required the shut down, now don’t want to help hospitals recover.
Don't neglect your emergency care because of COVID. Know the symptoms of a heart attack and the warning signs of a stroke. If you have any of these symptoms, don't let the pandemic discourage you from visiting the hospital. Click here for more information: https://t.co/RpyvfDMFSZ
Hospitals have lost hundreds of billions of $ because government told them to shut down. Now, most of Congress/Senate are turning their backs on hospitals. Some even saying hospitals “knew what they were in for” when they took loans to try and manage the pandemic.
We’ve made so much progress in Illinois, and we can’t afford to give in to #covid19 now.
If we let our guard down, we’ll have to go backward — so let’s keep moving forward by wearing a face covering.
We can beat the virus if we’re #AllInIllinois.
Safe Emergency Care Is Here For You- Don’t Wait! Now more than ever we all must make our health a priority! Take your healthcare back and help our frontline workers risking their lives to fight Covid-19 #fundourhospitals https://t.co/frVVlkKf8x
Congress can prevent a train wreck #hospitals face in just 24 days – fixing terms of #Medicare Accelerated & Advance Payment Programs loans will prevent a disaster for hospitals and patients. All in the midst of #COVID crisis. https://t.co/YKlzxt1EkY
The trends across the nation are concerning. But wearing a mask can help turn the tide and save lives. Do your part. Be #AllInIllinois.

It’s simple: If you’re going out — even if it’s only for a few minutes — wear a mask to protect yourself and those around you.
We can continue our progress if we’re #AllInIllinois.
New study from @IllinoisEPI finds unionized hospitals were better prepared to meet the #COVID19 health crisis, thanks to better staffing and stricter standards. But smaller, nonunion hospitals benefited disproportionately from federal relief packages. https://t.co/BO9RMaawQL
