$AMLDF is AML3D, an Australian advanced-manufacturing company that uses large-scale wire-arc 3D printing to produce heavy metal parts for defense, shipbuilding, energy, and aerospace.
Its growing role in the U.S. Navy submarine industrial base, where it can manufacture critical components faster, with less waste, and closer to where they are needed.
AML3D has already sold systems and secured funded work with major U.S. shipbuilding and defense customers, giving it real revenue, strategic relevance, and a path to scale.

No disagreement here. An important note too about this DIU initiative as it relates to Ondas' Rotron Aerospace:
DIU wants the all-up flyaway cost below $250,000 at scale, meaning a complete mission-ready system once production reaches volume.
It also wants the cost per successful effect below $500,000, accounting for reliability and mission success.
So a $250,000 weapon that succeeds only half the time would effectively cost $500,000 per successful strike. A $200,000 system with an 80% success rate would cost about $250,000 per successful effect.

$ONDS Cost to borrow for short sellers continues to trend higher overnight, now at 17.42%.
For the uninitiated, think of borrow fees like interest on a loan.
If a hedge fund is short $10M worth of $ONDS, a 2.65% CTB costs them about $265,000 per year.
At 17.42% CTB, that jumps to roughly $1.74M per year, an extra $1.48M just to keep the position open.
That means the stock has to fall about 15% more each year just to offset the higher borrow cost.
High borrow costs don’t just require shorts to be right, they require them to be right sooner than later.
Every day they hold the position, they’re paying just to stay in the trade.
If the stock chops sideways or rises, those borrow fees continue to accumulate.
The longer it takes for their “thesis” to play out, the more the carrying cost eats into potential profits.
The huge buying volume and business catalysts at $ONDS that we’ve seen this week are making this trade even more strenuous for short sellers.
At some point, this trade stops making sense.

Two important RFIs were updated a few minutes ago. Bare with me, this is an interesting one with major $ONDS implications: ⤵️
The Air Force’s Point Defense Battle Lab has released two separate, continuously open RFIs covering nearly the entire counter-UAS mission. One seeks technologies to detect, track, classify and integrate against Group 1-3 drones, while the other focuses on kinetic hard-kill effectors, including drone-on-drone interceptors, APKWS launchers, automated gun systems, lasers and high-power microwave weapons. Unlike a traditional one-time RFI, both notices will remain active and be updated with new Plans of Action & Milestones, allowing vendors to submit capabilities as the program evolves.
Alongside separate requests for general C-sUAS and kinetic hard-kill capabilities, it has continually published a year-long Plan of Action & Milestones showing monthly commercial vendor experiments spanning the entire counter-UAS kill chain: Find, Fix, Track, Target, Engage, Assess. Rather than a one-time solicitation, the Battle Lab is building an iterative pipeline where companies can repeatedly demonstrate, refine and integrate technologies into future Air Force tactics and capability development.
For $ONDS, this broadens the opportunity considerably. The general C-sUAS RFI aligns with DZYNE’s Sawtooth multi-sensor architecture, Dronebuster vehicle kits, DTI/DTIM systems and Sentrycs’ passive RF detection and protocol-based mitigation, while the kinetic RFI directly evaluates technologies such as autonomous drone interceptors, lasers, high-power microwave systems and other hard-kill effectors, creating a clear opportunity for IonStrike and possibly Iron Drone. Even more notable, the POAM schedules kinetic experimentation, Find-Fix-Track-Target-Engage (F2T2EA) experiments and a Technology Readiness Experimentation Vendor Assessment (T-REX) this August, followed by a demonstration for the Secretary of the Army in September.

The U.S. Army’s 7th Army Training Command is buying a bundled counter-drone and survivability package for Grafenwöhr, Germany, in support of exercise Saber Junction. Despite the “cUAS Interceptor” title, the package centers on soldier- and vehicle-mounted drone detectors, direction finding, backpack and vehicle jammers, multispectral camouflage, thermal cameras and field power systems, with one firm-fixed-price award planned.
Legit $ONDS opportunity through DZYNE. Dronebuster directly fits the handheld and vehicle-mounted RF detection, communications disruption and GNSS-denial requirements, while Sentrycs could support passive detection and drone/operator localization. The issue is the bundled part. Ondas does not supply the camouflage, optics and power equipment, so it would likely participate through a distributor or broader team.
