@SalomeSibonex@gilgamesh310 The "stealing" probably refers to the fact that AI companies OPENLY stated in court
"sorry, but if we would actually have to pay all the people whose work we train with, we wouldn't have a business model".
@peterjhasson@hansaFL In the end, his point is:
- big brother for citizens is okay
- but his officers can't be bothered to effing document their interactions with said citizens
But maybe bent over some more for big brother, will you.
@DougBillings@ArrowsmithDoug I guarantee you, every single one you write yourself is more immature.
Don't forget to bend over some more, Trump needs to fuck you a bit harder.
Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and anyone else in leadership that decided that it was okay to grab Afghan interpreters who stood by our sides in combat and deport them to gulags in Africa is a damn traitor that has turned their backs on the very people that we relied on in combat.
Without these interpreters it would have been impossible for us to accomplish our mission and communicate with the people. I had no air support where I was most of the time. There was only 4 of us on my team, me, my NCO, my interpreter and a mechanic. I had 8 Afghan police stations that I was responsible for providing equipment for to defend themselves against the Taliban. What do you think would’ve happened if we had no means to communicate with the Afghan police?????
This entire administration is criminal. These people risked their lives for us. They are disappearing these folks to third world countries. The cruelty is unacceptable. When this nightmare ends, this entire corrupt administration must be held accountability. There is nothing patriotic about this.
What a morally bankrupt administration. Trump’s Secretary Bessent blames Ukraine for high gas prices: “We are going through an energy shock right now due to the war in Ukraine… Ukraine has decided that they want to blow up Russian energy assets and refined products, so that is creating upward price pressure on a global basis.”
What kind of person would put a blame on a victim who is fighting for its survival and not a single word against the aggressor?
I still cannot believe people voted for this administration of complete moral bankruptcy.
There's an update to this incredible (and disgusting) story.
The young man in this video is named Fernando Vazquez - an American citizen, born and raised in Raleigh. Back in November, during the indiscriminate ICE raids all over North Carolina, federal agents stormed his work site, handcuffed him, threw him in the back of a van and drove off, with no explanation, let alone charges.
They did that because Vazquez is brown-skinned and speaks Spanish.
After positively proving his identity, the ICE agents dumped him on the side of the road, as shown here in the video Vazquez took. They threw his belongings on the ground without so much as an apology.
Vazquez and several other Americans abused by ICE thugs are now suing ICE and the federal government for damages, showing that their Constitutional rights as Americans were (clearly) violated.

I too used to look at 1.5°C above pre-industrial temps and think pffft, that's nothing. We'll get slightly warmer summers. Great.
And then I started looking into it more when I saw the flooding, heatwaves, fires, crazy hurricanes. It was then I knew.
I realised I was confusing weather with climate.
When your local temperature goes up 1.5°C in an afternoon, you don't even notice. But when the entire planet retains that much extra energy 24/7, the reality changes completely.
Think of it like the human body. Your normal temperature is 37°C. If your core temp rises by 1.5°C, you don't just feel "a little warmer." You have a fever. If it rises by 3°C, you are in the hospital with organ failure.
That 1.5°C isn't an even, gentle warming. It is raw atmospheric fuel.
And now, time has officially run out. The United Nations just announced that exceeding 1.5°C is now completely unavoidable. We are officially tracking toward a peak of at least 1.8°C only if we do everything perfectly. Under our current trajectory, we are heading straight for 2.6°C.
Many of you probably missed the WaPo article revealing that a group of pro-Trump influencers were quietly given civilian roles at the Pentagon.
One of them is retired Army Colonel Thomas Anderson, better known as @CynicalPublius.
In addition to promoting Pete Hegseth’s silly macho propaganda, he actively participated in anti-Ukraine rhetoric and spouted straight-up Kremlin propaganda.
@chelsssseeeea@RobBellator No, it is something that many people before you fought and died for.
Looking at you, one wonders why.
So that you can give it away for nothing in return?
Manchmal braucht politische Aufklärung keine lange Analyse. Man muss nur genau hinsehen, wer sich angesprochen fühlt.👀
