@StColumbaa @garykoepnick @RogerSunderlin Regardless of which job a person has, promotion to E-4 is based on TOS, and the longest it takes in 3 years, if you have a clean record. To stay an E-4 to 12 years, the high year of tenure, is highly unusual for any career field.

@StColumbaa @garykoepnick @RogerSunderlin I know what I'm saying and an airman entering basic at E-1 will make E-4 in 3 years. If not then there would have to be disciplinary issues. Even in the reserves it is highly unusual to be an E-4 at 12 years, considering that is the high year of tenure for an E-4.
