@Tsar_Martyr@AbaddonSpeaks Where does god in the bible describe himself as one god in three persons?
Or is your religion all about creating arbitrary ad hoc terms and definitions out of thin air without any backing from the god you claim to believe in?
@brethrenfpurity What was the logical argument?
Is it:
P1: Natural order can't be violated (unsubstantiated premise from a pre-assumed dogma (ironic))
P2: Virgin birth violates natural order
C: Virgin birth is false
Is that the groundbreaking logic?
@prime_008@5Pillarsuk The only country to have ever used nuke to vaporize hundreds of thousands of civilians including babies is the US. Twice. Probably taking inspiration from Numbers
@InterstellarG0@xavierjp__@AlterRights@IsraeliPM I don't think anyone is arguing that names define heroism
It's a jab at people whose bar of evidence changes depending on whether the evidence conforms to their pre-existing biases, and how arguments that they would otherwise consider ridiculous conveniently become acceptable
@InterstellarG0@xavierjp__@AlterRights Ahmed isn't just an Arabic name. It's the name of the Prophet. And the cousin of the man who talked to the news is Mustafa, which is also the title of the Prophet.
There's 99% chance he's Muslim. If 99% isn't good enough, you might as well not be confident you aren't adopted
Time to do this again?
Ok Bismillah
Let’s analyze below what atheism and Islam have done to societal standards and well being 🧵
Short answer: atheism has been a disaster, Islam has prevailed
@SpeedWatkins Their is no ought nor any provision of ought in a world that is merely a result of atoms randomly bumping into each other. You can create your own oughts, but that's like playing dress up.

As Muslims, we should optimise for:
❌ Quality ❌ Quantity ✅ Barakah
Barakah is earning a Halal income that pays less but results in more wealth.
Barakah is sleeping less by waking up for Fajr, but being even more energised during the day.
Barakah is taking time from our busy schedules to spend with our parents but progressing even further in our careers.
Although we might not see it - optimising for the sake of Allah will always take us further than what our 2 hands are capable of achieving.🤲

I've just received this in the mail!!
For the first time in the English language, Al-Shawkani's "A Critique of the Ruling of al-Taqlīd"!
Published by @DaralArqamPub. <3
This book is a game-changer!
Suppose you believe:
1. X is revelation from God.
2. God is never wrong.
3. You are sometimes wrong.
Are you thereby in position to infer this?
4. Therefore, if X contradicts other of my beliefs, I should defer to X.
Hint: no.
Why not?
Liberals and secularists need to realise that their ethical theories are NOT universal and are subject to extensive philosophical critique. We Muslims have our sources of morality. They have served us well and are built on a strong rational foundation. https://t.co/VzGCriRBM7
Without Revelation, 'public decency' is mercurial, 'rights' are just fictional entitlements u conjure up as idols to worship, oppression is only whatever you find distasteful & unnecessary to your interests (for the moment) and good and bad are meaningless in a material universe.
We've trained a neural net called Whisper that approaches human-level robustness and accuracy on English speech recognition. It performs well even on diverse accents and technical language. Whisper is open source for all to use. https://t.co/ueVywYPEkK
@GaryHeron2@euphoriaforeva@waasim_ An atheist is like a video game character who became sentient, and started to study the world. He only saw rules or laws governing the world through "science", but he couldn't find a programmer or lawmaker in it. So he concluded that the world he is in is not created by anything.
