@ericmigi I've pre ordered pebble time 2, is there a way I could add pebble round 2 into my order? The orders page only allows me to add more PT2 to my order. Thanks!
Today a learned that pistons at brake callipers are almost more important that callipers themselves. As on heat they may expand, it’s important to use quality pistons.
Today I learned that ABS in the lowest (sport) setting can still trigger on track, even when grip is perfect. It doesn’t just watch for tyre slip — it compares wheel speeds. So under heavy braking, it can get confused and cut in when you don’t want it to.
Today on a track day I learned that brake fluid can easily boil, and when it does — you’re left with no brakes at all. One way to spot it is by looking at the brake discs: if they’ve discoloured and look a bit like a rainbow, that’s a sign. I’ve seen it twice on other bikes.
A surprising discovery: Indian folk fits metal really well. Here are some of my finds https://t.co/YIRnXKZhd7 — and of course, this band @Bloodywood2 : https://t.co/BoeKflQ0jA
I’ve been for alternative terminals to beloved iTerm, as it started crashing a little bit too often. I found #wezterm nearly perfect, however it it has a massive drawback, it doesn’t support TrueType and my favourite Monaco font. I had to use #Alacritty + #xterm for now.
here are my requirements to a terminal:
- tabs/splits
- support of TrueType and Monaco font
- possibility to select text and copy using cmd+c (unlike copy on select)
- configuration in a file
Apple Password now has official plugins for Firefox and Chrome. I’m fully switching to it from 1Password now. Very timely, considering the news that 1Password 7 will no longer be supported starting 1 May @1Password@Apple
Here is another example of why I don’t like using a phone for navigation at a motorcycle. When I try to turn music on using Siri - it shows me that pop up, which I cannot close unless I stop and take my glove off.
