The greek word for compassion means to be moved from your most inward parts.
It's the same word Scripture uses to describe how Jesus responded to people who were hurting.
That's not comfortable. It's not supposed to be.
Where have you been feeling from a distance instead of showing up?

I wrote 40 Days to Look Again for anyone who needs to hear that their worth was never something they had to earn.
Not through success.
Not through hustle.
Not through anything they do.
If you know someone who's been carrying more than they let on, this could be the gift that reminds them who they really are.

6 months till Night to Shine 2027. Let's go!!
First time hearing about it? It's not about the red carpet or the crowns. It's a celebration of someone realizing they've always had worth because they're made in the image of God.
Save the date: February 12, 2027. Who's coming?
Real strength doesn't need to prove itself.
Real strength doesn't perform.
It doesn't need an audience.
It just shows up, does what's necessary, and doesn't ask for credit.
Save this as a reminder next time you feel like you have to prove something.
Kindness isn't the opposite of strength.
We're taught pretty early that you have to pick one — be tough, or be kind. Rarely both.
But some of the strongest people I know are also the kindest.
Not despite their strength.
Because of it.
Who's someone in your life who proved that to you?
I’ll go first, my dad.

Football didn’t turn out the way I expected.
I was cut. Again. And again.
Those detours were hard, but God used them to show me what truly matters: the people I’m called to serve.
Purpose doesn’t disappear ,it’s just revealed in new ways.

I wrote If the Tree Could Speak hoping it wouldn’t just be another book on a shelf.
I wanted it to be something believers could pick up and give to someone they care about — someone who might need hope, encouragement, or a fresh perspective on faith.
The book tells the story of the cross in a way you don’t usually hear — through the eyes of the tree that became the cross. It’s a story of sacrifice, hope, and the love that changed everything.
My prayer is that it sparks reflection, meaningful conversations, and helps people see God’s love and faithfulness in a new way.
🎙️: Hey! It's the Luskos!
Easter reminds us what love was willing to endure.
If the Tree Could Speak tells that story from the perspective of the cross itself, a way to reflect on the crucifixion with a new lens.

No one’s perfect.
Imperfection may be painful — but it’s the perfect set-up for a savior.
Let’s pursue Jesus together today.

When we first had the idea for If the Tree Could Speak, we honestly didn't know if there was a place for it in the world. It was such a unique concept, but we wanted to trust what God put on our hearts. God clearly had a plan.
The cross is no longer a tool of torture. It's a symbol that points to a Savior. This book was always about helping people rediscover that truth — to not just think about what happened on the cross, but who it happened to.
The Carpenter. The King. The Son of God.
The One who still gives life today.
Thank you for making this possible. All glory to Him.
Some days feel heavy.
Some days feel small.
Every day matters.
Even in the quiet, messy, or heavy moments, God is at work. Every day matters when we trust Him.
What small moment today reminds you of His faithfulness?
This Easter, what if we started thinking about the cross in a new way?
We know our sins are what nailed Jesus there… but what if we could hear the story of the tree He hung on? What would it have witnessed? What would it say about the love and sacrifice we often take for granted?
My new book, If the Tree Could Speak lets us experience the Crucifixion from this new perspective, helping us see Easter and His love with a new lens.
