We’ve been building @LazyFootballApp for more than 3.5 years. And our story is only beginning.
Our niche is beautiful, strong, and full of potential. And we’re not stopping anytime soon.
In July we moved from Unity to React. It was not just an update but a fix of one big mistake we made at the very start. Since then we’ve been finishing our second full season on the new engine and the eighth overall.
During this time, we’ve:
✔️ fixed countless bugs and improved core systems;
✔️ reworked the rewards system to truly reward long-term players;
✔️ added new mechanics, including crafting;
✔️ boosted the player market with new trading logic...
Now we’re optimizing our match engine, polishing the frontend, preparing a blockchain migration, a small rebrand, and NFT players: one of the most awaited features.
Only now, after all this hard work, we’ve started thinking about our first VC round. And that says a lot about my mindset as a founder.
Back in 2021, I built a strong Telegram community: people who believed in me and in the idea. Their early NFT presales funded the project and made all of this possible.
I’ll always be grateful for that!
By 2025, we’ve built a game that:
✔️ can compete with many "old" Web2 football managers;
✔️ generates real revenue;
✔️ has 1K daily active users (record - 2.7K);
✔️ runs on a stable, proven, community-funded model.
@LazyFootballApp has never been about hype. It’s about long-term vision, not ponzi cycles.
We don’t wait for metas and we don’t chase them. Metas used to live for months, then for weeks, now they die in days or even hours. We’re building something meant to last for decades.
And now - it’s time to scale.
I used to stay quiet about our progress. But from now on, I’ll speak loud and clear.
We’re still fully self-funded, with no backers, no loud names, and no huge budgets. Just passion, persistence, and our community.
The next chapter of @LazyFootballApp begins now.
Every day I spend in web3 pushes me further away from this space.
And no, it's not about my bags. I had enough sense not to ape into empty tickers with no real product behind them.
The market has long since turned into pure gambling and selling air. For years I kept hoping this would change. It's only getting worse..
It’s been quite a while since my last full-scale thread about @lazyfootballapp. The game has introduced a bunch of interesting new mechanics that I’m excited to dive into, so let’s get into it.
Season 11 hasn't even started, but the market is ABSOLUTELY EXPLODING! 🔥
Two INSANE new ATH player sales already: 84 gems and 108 gems! 💎

We're building a business, not a project. Strategy, not gambling.
Last week we launched quest-based onboarding for new players. One more thing to ship, then we go after football fans who've never touched crypto.
The goal is simple: bring them onchain through a game they already love.
We haven't even started yet.
Applied to @base Batches 003!
4 years building @LazyFootballApp. 10 seasons, 4,500+ clubs. This time applying as a Base-native project with a mini-app live.
Product first. Marketing next.
Last time we reached the interview. Let's see what happens now.
Hey! To be honest, this isn't exactly a new UI. As for the match engine, you're absolutely right, it needs a lot of work. It’s essentially in the same state it was 2 years ago, and it’s far from perfect.
At the same time, we have to balance this with improving onboarding for new users, retaining our veterans, and enabling the ability for players to trade their assets for USDC.
I’m confident that we’ll refine the match engine over the next few months.
