@RhysSullivan Interested as well for cases of oauth2/sso where you have to reg callback url with provider and some only allow one.
What about multi instances or multiple worktrees on the same instance or multi devs with all the same.
I am at the point of having to write my own mini proxy...
@brodieferguson@OpenAIDevs I feel like this is never coming for some reason...
I setup SSH (non wsl) for my main windows host and use that connection from other codex app instances and it works ok.
I ran sessions on each host and prompted the main one and it guided me back and forth across sesssions
hey @OpenAIDevs how can I get this enabled for me on my windows devices?
I use a laptop when out and a grunty desktop that is always on at home with all my sessions on it and would love to just use the ChatGPT(Codex) app on the laptop and not have to remote into the desktop
Have logged it many times, the GUI lag in the ChatGPT desktop on windows is horrendous at times.
If it is not minimized, doesnt have to be focused, it can be like dragging the mouse through thick mud anywhere on my screens
Don't think its my computer...
@mattpocockuk I'd prefer this I think.
Maybe batch them up into groups of 10-15 at a time, or maybe into groups on the same theme so that it gets resolution on one branch of thought at a time.
@simpsoka Please let us set the directory for the worktrees... Having it jammed into a sub directory of my users directory is a real pain.
Also, on windows I use a dev drive, so I had to create a junction to move it and sometimes things go off because of that.
@thsottiaux Thread loading performance.
In app browser can't handle social auth that uses popups which makes it hard to easily test those type of webapps.
Terminal hyperlinks (windows terminal host) warn you and then don't open
The amount of token burning codex dekstop is doing on windows because sandboxing just isnt right is bonkers, almost every time it goes to do something i get: "...hit the same local sandbox helper problem..." or variant

@reach_vb
Dear Codex team, maybe i am missing where this is...
Please let us start a new chat off an existing worktree based chat like we can "fork into same worktree" but it is a fresh context. I often want to do this.

@reach_vb ?
@growing_kino @jxnlco This slash command works for me in the codex app as of yesterday's update. Check your config.toml has the goal feature set to true or just tell it `codex enable the goal feature`
amongst all the really great updates in @aspiredotdev 13.2, one of the best for pure QoL is `aspire start`... No more `hmm.. which terminal had that running aspire instance in it... <searches for 2 minutes>`
@QuentinCody@RhysSullivan@threepointone I have found that tools like Claude code only support tools, no prompts or resources, so we offer prompts and resources as wrapped tools to ensure all the clients can get all the goodies!
