So we must plan differently.
From plot economics to system economics.
From scattered approvals to connected opportunity.

Let us build roads and transit that reduce cost and time.
Let us build markets, workshops, and industrial spaces where skills become income.
Let us treat drainage, sanitation, schools, clinics, and digital systems as core infrastructure, not optional extras.

Because the true test of a city is simple:
Does it increase the productivity and wellbeing of ordinary people?

If not, even the most impressive skyline is a polished illusion.

For Mbarara, let this be the doctrine: Build systems, not just structures.

@assempebwa Some of the new roads in the countryside have been designed to have service lanes at trading centres. This I notice is working well as the through traffic has minimal interruption from the trade activities. That seems like a good substitute for speed bumps, should've rolled over

Today, the road markings are still present, sections of the drainage channels are silted with bush but the worst part, several lone poles, no road signs on them 🥲🥲

@rama_or @assempebwa I agree with you on this. The only change to the rear 'Square' plate should have been reshaping to a rectangle, the size of the 🇹🇿 or 🇸🇸 plates so that they fit in the space provision for most vehicles and ofcourse to digitise, if there's anything like that in the current plates
