I’ve decided that this is the year I start addressing emails to my kids’ teachers using their first names. I am finally mature enough. (I have a 5th grader.)
@cecegkh Was supposed to be on a Frontier flight this morning with 3 kids. Got to the airport at 4:33 for a 5:30am flight. Told us we were too late, no exceptions and tried to make us forfeit our return flight too. Never again.
@watilo@SouthwestAir Don’t get the hate. You absolutely should not have to pay $100+ more per flight to sit together. If you don’t pay for a specific seat on Frontier, they guarantee 12&under will be seated with a parent. @SouthwestAir I’m begging you, fix this.
Hey @SouthwestAir - I’m a busy mom of 3, love to travel, and you know what? I’m not a planner. I book flights often less than a month in advance because my husband’s job can be unpredictable. I almost always chose Southwest because I could be certain I could sit with my kids 1/?
Dear @SouthwestAir: Your new seating rules and boarding procedures are a DISASTER.
Boarding is chaos. Deboarding is even worse. Your new boarding order leads to front bins being filled by back seaters before longtime A-Listers even board. This leads to madness upon deboarding as people go against the flow of traffic to get the carry-ons they had to stash 20 rows behind them.
And because you no longer allow two bags to be checked for free, there are way more carry-ons, which only leads to longer boarding and deboarding times.
There’s simply no reason to fly Southwest anymore. You don’t have the lowest fares. Miles and status don’t matter because of how badly you dorked up boarding. And the service quality has gone waaaaay down, with fun and cheery flight attendants being replaced by nasty, bossy cranks with bad attitudes.
It doesn’t have to be this way. You used to be the best. You should go back to doing the things that made Southwest different and great.
without paying expensive fees per seat. I took it in stride when the free bags ended and stayed loyal. But with this change, I now have no reason to choose Southwest over any other airlines. 2/?
Hi @SouthwestAir
I have flown your airline almost exclusively for the last 5 years.
It has been great.
Friendly People
Good Accommodations
A List Benefits to keep coming back
Today I flew on your new policy.
To say it was disappointing would be an understatement.
I get it, this is a big change and I’m sure it will get better but I guess my question is why should I fly Southwest at all moving forward?
You all are way smarter than me so I’m sure I’m missing how this benefits customers.
There used to be a clear differentiator between your offering and everyone else.
Checked Bag Fees
Same Day Change
Loyalty Benefits That Mattered
All of that has either gone away or is just simply pay for play.
Anyways just my✌️cents of a customer who has flown your airline a lot the past few years.
@emzanotti Highly recommend this bow and arrow brand - my son wanted one when he was 5ish and this was a favorite for a long time! https://t.co/krvIwvcrmo
