@gnukeith They aren't blocking anything, simply not listing it in dns. You can do this yourself via your hosts file on Windows or depending on your OS. You can also host your own dns server to use. It isn't that hard to do this and avoid this problem.

@DefaultReece This is actually a suspension setting, called "damping". I guarantee the Chinese car body rolls atrociously while turning as there are many downsides to soft suspension like that. It's a bs comparison. Any suspension purely for comfort would behave similarly.

It's just to reduce use and the longevity of the engine is secondary to this. Manufacturers get to sell more cars as well

My car has heavier oil recommended in every other country. The film is drastically reduced just like when you shut off the engine any other time and restart.

@ConradEduard @RobertMSterling The oil pump is run by the engine rotation, and there will be a small lack of oil after it stops for even a short amount of time, especially with the thin oils we are forced to use in the USA now.

@RobertMSterling The note is just some article that says "no it doesn't cause gas efficiency". It wears the starter, the oil pump stops as it is ran by the engine rotation, increasing wear on the entire engine as new oil needs to be pimped up to the heads each time, the wear from this adds up.
