@troessner @mvz But if someone includes 'gem reek' in their Gemfile and parser gem changes, then their Gemfile.lock would be updated.

@troessner @mvz E.g. in Reek's case, the correct thing to update (if parser gem changes) is the gemspec and not the Gemfile.
