For teams who say it's tough to play 2 games in 4 days, be happy you don't play in Greenland. The final tournament in the championship consists of 5 games in 6 days. I suppose the 9 months off season is nice compensation.
The French Open final was a great example of sportsmanship that can be followed in all sports. Correcting line calls in favour of the opponent, the speeches afterwards, everything. They showed you can compete at the highest level and still be good sports and respect each other.
So many goals are being scored from corners in England by obstructing or fouling the goalkeeper. The commentator says the keeper must be stronger, in other words he must push the obstructor out the way. Pushing is a penalty. The defending team needs to obstruct the obstructors.
Actually I think the new #EPL VAR policy is "Don't change the ref's decision unless a 2 year old can see the mistake with his eyes closed and the TV off. Except offside"
So in the #EPL it seems the ref is thinking "I won't give a penalty, VAR will correct me if I'm wrong" but VAR has been told not to do anything unless it's obviously assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
