It sucks Cade Kurland hasn’t been healthy in essentially three calendar years, because very few have done more for Gator baseball than him.

And no that’s not cap.

He’s 9th on Florida’s all time HR list with 43. He’s 22 RBI short of cracking the top 10 on Florida’s career RBI leaderboard, as well as 16 runs scored outside of the top 10 in that category. And I’ll never forget the two dingers he hit in the de facto NCAA Tourney play-in game at Georgia in 2024, the first one for the lead and the second one for the dagger.

Hope he comes back, but if he doesn’t, I’ll be thankful for the memories.

The Tampa Police Benevolent Association is backing the #Rays’ proposed Tampa ballpark district, and the plan now includes relocating Tampa PD’s District One station directly into the development.

“We support the Tampa Bay Rays proposal and encourage our elected officials at the County and City to move it forward this week,” TPBA President Brandon Barclay said, adding the proposal “protects public safety funding” while creating long-term benefits for the community.

When i was playing high school ball way back in 1987-89, Baisley was coaching Land O' Lakes. Pretty sure we played there a few times. And he is still coaching and teaching young men! I'm a Jesuit Tiger through and through, but I hope this guy wins a state championship!
