He hasn't confirmed anything because he wasn't with us in the Hamptons. The people who actually were there debunked these lies from the beginning. Charlie invited me to the meeting, thanked me afterwards for coming and sharing my views, and told me he'd be there for me if I ever needed him. That was the last thing he ever said to me before Tyler Robinson — not his wife or closest friends or the joooos — murdered him.
I disagreed publicly — not behind closed doors — with TPUSA giving Tucker the stage last year. That's true, and I stand by what I said. It wasn't a threat. It wasn't coercion. It was an opinion. I think Tucker's message should be repudiated from the Amfest stage, not promoted. I haven't changed my mind. And last I checked, I have the freedom to voice my opinion, even if Tucker doesn't like it.
By the way, if voicing disagreement with something makes me a thug or bully who's guilty of blackmail (does he even know what blackmail means?), then what does that make Tucker? All he does is attack and disparage people who disgree with him — including President Trump — and he has far more reach and influence than I do.
@megynkelly His cohort of “sick followers” used to be your followers too.
And btw, your whole show is about calling attention to negative things in the news. But you supposedly don’t wanna call out Candace because it draws attention to it?
I don't blame them. I called this in '22. Homophobia is on the rise because people are fatigued. Gays had it good. We were left alone. We were accepted. Until the T came in and told everyone they had to accept them or else. Until they wanted to teach your kids about gender studies. Until they painted Target in rainbows year after year. Until every show and film had the plot stolen by the they/them's. People don't want to give normal gays a chance anymore because we're so few and far between. They assume we're like the rest because the majority has gone bonkers.
So wait, @megynkelly let me get this straight, you were deeply offended by Bari Weiss‘s conduct towards Erika Kirk, but not offended by Candace Owens conduct toward Erika Kirk?
You characterize criticisms of Candace or Tucker or Fuentes as calls to de-platform, which you say you’re against, while calling for Bari Weiss to be de-platformed from CBS?
I get it, no one likes to be told what to do. No one likes to be demanded to do something. It’s annoying, but that really shouldn’t have any bearing on whether or not a decision or position is right or wrong.
If you’re saying that when pressured to say or do something you immediately just do the opposite, then you’re admitting that you’re operating from a place of reactionary emotion, and not reason, rationality or critical thinking.
If people in the pro-life movement began annoying you, or making demands of you, would that make you less pro-life?
I’ve been finding all of this genuinely baffling. Open to discussion, criticism and feedback, I would hope you are too.
