@Puncher522 Bitcoin has no CEO, but it does have leaders who can influence consensus, driven by an unapologetically meritocratic process where the best ideas win.
Refreshing and incredible!
The unique quality of Elon musk I observed is that he is the one and only one , I ever saw in any interview , where most of the time he looks like he started thinking about the question after it was asked .. he also looks like he’s thinking while talking , trying to find words for his thoughts to express while still thinking ..This is in sharp contrast to all in his kind of position who blurt out their answers even before the question is finished
In a large percentage of his interviews and long form conversations, there is a noticeable lag between the question landing and the beginning of a coherent answer. That lag is not emptiness. It is the visible onset of actual reasoning. He appears to treat many questions as live problems rather than conversational cues. You can watch him assembling the thought in real time: evaluating assumptions, discarding weaker framings, searching for the most precise formulation, and only then converting the internal thoughts into language.
Even while speaking, he often continues refining. Sentences restart, and he will sometimes correct or sharpen a point he made only seconds earlier. The thinking does not stop when the talking begins.
This is in sharp contrast to Politicians, most CEOs, media figures, and even many scientists in the public eye who always sound decisive ..
Speed of response often is thought as mastery. Elon’s slower, more visibly constructive process rejects that theory . It suggests that he is often doing the work of thinking in front of the audience rather than merely expressing the results of prior thinking.
Also while talking about the effects of A I on humanity his face has a strange mixture of hoping for the best , but accepting the inevitability . He appears fearless because he has already run the probabilities further than most people ever can .. The expression is not the practiced optimism of a CEO selling a future, nor the performative dread of a public intellectual signalling concern. It is the face of someone who has internally modelled both the upside and the downside at a depth that makes ordinary emotional reactions feel inadequate.
Hope remains, but it is no longer naïve because it coexists with a clear eyed recognition that certain trajectories, once set in motion will develop their own momentum.
The fearlessness does not come from confidence that everything will turn out well, but It comes from having already absorbed the full range of possible outcomes , including the irreversible ones and deciding to act anyway. The result is a composure that looks like courage, but is closer to something much more austere as in the refusal to look away from the actual problem. https://t.co/7jR4KxJYxh via @YouTube
Good morning.
This is the first Bitcoin "bear" market where Bitcoiners stopped talking about Bitcoin's value proposition.
Nothing has changed; 99.9% of humanity still doesn't understand it.
Bitcoin can grow 100-fold and become the foundation of global capital. A single corrupt rule adopted today could rob future generations of markets not yet built, technologies not yet imagined, and economic freedom not yet won.
Once one faction captures consensus, every faction learns it can seize through politics what it could not earn in the market. Protocol warfare becomes permanent.
Capital flees, innovation dies, security erodes, and Bitcoin is doomed to 1% of its potential.
This may not look like bull-market behavior, but look at the past month: Bitcoin is up about 5%.
What does the power law predict?
We can calculate it.
The expected daily return is:
R = (days today / days yesterday)^5.8
Bitcoin is currently 6,419 days from the Genesis Block, so:
R = (6419 / 6418)^5.8 ≈ 1.0009
That is approximately 0.09% per day.
Compounded over 30 days:
1.0009^30 ≈ 1.027
So the power law predicts approximately 2.7% growth over one month.
Bitcoin has actually risen about 5%, meaning that during the past month it has been moving faster than the long-term power-law trajectory predicts.
This does not mean every month must follow the model exactly. Short-term returns fluctuate around the structural trend.
But recent price behavior is not weak relative to the power law. It is ahead of it.
Remember: simply continuing to move along the power-law trajectory would bring Bitcoin to approximately $1 million in about eight years.
We are fine.
Seeing real estate agents cry about Australia's Property Ponzi Scheme going down for the first time in years gives me immense pleasure.
Yes, ordinary people will unfortunately get smashed by this too, but real estate agents, and those guys who just leverage themselves to the tits buying property after property with debt, then making podcasts about how smart they are and selling courses, are grifters.
They add negative value to society - functionally useless people who extort broken markets to the detriment of normal people that just want to opportunity to work hard and eventually own a house at a reasonable price point to provide for their family.
Is it directly their fault? No, the system is broken and they simply exploited it.
But Australia's Property Ponzi scheme deserves to completely collapse.
Without collapse, we cannot begin the rebuild.
🇮🇳 1 dollar bought ₹3.30 in 1947.
Today it buys over ₹96.56
Nearly 97% gone in one currency's lifetime.
That's not inflation. That's an entire country's economic story, told in one exchange rate.
