Well how about that, a new official Spyro game is on the way. Definitely looks interesting to say the least.
Planning on posting a trailer for my animation project but gonna wait a week at least.
Spyro kinda "flies" in it, this is the most relevant screenshot I got lol
Could there be a Spyro 4 around the corner?
(picture unrelated, though I'm a little skeptical of a leak with no source/evidence imo but I'll guess we'll see)
Wondering if something will happen if a few days?
(Not related to anything official, planning on finishing this project regardless... also wanted an excuse to post another scenic screenshot from the end credit sequence I'm working on. More on my Bluesky account.)
@SmilodonnaVT I'm assuming this was a better result than using something like displacement mapping? Probably a tradeoff between texture memory/shading and rendering all those triangles.
Hey internet, check out this bird thing.
Been practicing some more character sculpting stuff and tried recreating a painting (by ArtofSandra) of what is apparently called a Laterntail. Could be better but I think it's a decent recreation of it.
@messeduppcs You turn on the PC only to realize later, after a moment of dread, the tiny cable for the front power button slipped out because you nudged it slightly.
Still thinking about absolute layers in #UnrealEngine5 Sequencer setting their weight by half every time you add one.
It's like having Photoshop making every layer you add causing others to suddenly be semi-transparent outside your control. Why would you ever want that?
More UE5 animation stuff: Recently Control Rig lets you set Euler rotation order on controls (to avoid gimbal locking) in 5.4.
However, the rotation gizmo in Unreal just ignore it and uses whatever order it wants. Have set values manually to avoid it when I shouldn't have to.
My personal advice for the online world: Don't do anything online that you aren't willing to do out in public.
The key difference is random strangers can look up whatever you post online at any time.
Making another animation of a little lizard, this time trying to deliver a package.
Still a fair amount to go but I'm happy I got this portal shot working (mostly) seamlessly.
@HelldiversAlert If only they had done this to start with, they wouldn't be in this mess. Now people have a game sitting in their Steam account they can't play.
This is ridiculous. Why does #UE5 have a memory issue just by tweaking keyframe values or using autokey??
Please tell me I'm not the only one having this issue.
