Everyone talks about Gati Shakti, but here's the reality:

Without Dedicated Freight Corridor, Gati Shakti is coming at the cost of passenger punctuality.

The Howrah–Kharagpur–Tatanagar–Rourkela–Jharsuguda corridor is a prime example. Freight & passenger trains are competing for the same tracks, leading to cascading delays and poor on-time performance for the last 4 years now!

Build the Dedicated Freight Corridors first. Then run more freight.

🚨Dirty Bedrolls on Trains Departing from Tatanagar??

Passengers have been reporting unhygienic bedrolls on trains originating from Tatanagar.

📍 14 July: Passengers in B2 coach of Train 18181 Tatanagar–Thawe Express protested after being given dirty bedrolls.

📍 Today: A passenger in A1 coach of Train 18189 Tatanagar–Ernakulam Express received a stained bedsheet.

Requesting @CKP_Division to direct the Mechanised Laundry, Tatanagar to strengthen quality checks & ensure every bedroll is properly washed and hygienic before being issued to passengers.

At the same time, passengers also have a shared responsibility—please help keep railway linen clean by avoiding eating on the bedsheets and using them responsibly.

🚨 Big Relief for Tatanagar–Buxar Express Passengers! 🚆

From 17 July 2026, 1 General (GEN) coach will be replaced by 1 Sleeper (SL) coach in 18183/18184 Tatanagar–Buxar Express.

✅ A long-awaited demand has finally been fulfilled, bringing a more comfortable journey for thousands of reserved passengers on this 15-hour route.

🙏 Sincere thanks to MP Shri @mpbidyutmahato Ji for strongly raising this issue during the South Eastern Railway ZRUCC meeting and ensuring passengers' voices reached the Railway administration.

👏 Special appreciation to @CKP_Division DRM sir & @serailwaykol for taking swift action and approving this much-needed change. This is a great example of how proactive administration and public representatives can work together for the benefit of passengers.

🌟 This isn't just a coach replacement—it's a step towards a more passenger-centric Indian Railways.
