Prime example of the disconnect people in power have with reality.

In 2026 what's the use of adding Bangalore in 50% HRA exemption list when most of the people are forced to move to new tax regime.

In new regime you can't take benefit of HRA and old regime is so heavily taxed that it doesn't make sense to stay there.

If you really care for people, ask Finance minister to add HRA exemption in new tax regime otherwise it's of no use for general salaried class.

This is the reason why Bengaluru roads are so narrow. It was never planned 20 years ahead.

@PCMohanMP Dear PCM. Please support the local govt. Work together for betterment of Bangalore. Double decker is a good long term solution. Just do not oppose for the sake of opposing local government. Earlier govt did not even plan for a greater Bangalore.

@PCMohanMP You should be ashamed to post this instead of pressurising MoHUA to get the required approvals. Parallel infrastructure caters to future demand. This double decker metro would hugely benefit east Bangalore as roads are severely choked there!!

1 . Initial proposal came around 2018-19
2. 2022 bjp cm announced about the new metro
3. DPR gets ready
4. Dec 2024 state cabinet approved
5. Mid 2025 , DPR has been resubmitted Shameless people still playing this approval-pending game.

@PCMohanMP Double decker reduces traffic congestion. We are observing traffic jams even with the enough ridership in metro. So, we must have double decker. Please take opinion from people and experts and then voice your opinion.
