@tododiaedeviver @ultimablackmage@Stealth40k Which leads to many people being hired on a contract or part-time basis instead - despite working full time there.
@smarzeli@ophello@DrEliDavid That part is admirable.
But advocating for rules for the average joe that he won't have to abide to because he pays others to plant trees for him and what not doesn't ring alarms bells?
Also, if he cares so deeply, wouldnt he want to avoid polluting no matter how much is offset?
@ophello@DrEliDavid Kinda strange to be able to buy yourself out of the responsibility to care about the consequences of your actions, don't you think?
@Adatina14 @luckyrabbitsio @TrungTPhan You can easily make it yourself with just hazelnuts, a fraction of the sugar, and even coca is optional. Just put all in a blender.
@Picco_Santi@robbezdjian@unusual_whales This assumes the developer's current workload is smooth sailing. But cutting corners to meet deadlines and working overtime is more prevalent than ever. For now, chatgpt wins us back some time and hence allows for more stable solutions to be developed.
@Picco_Santi@robbezdjian@unusual_whales It doesn't, as for now... It's great for being an assistant for investigating issues or writing a spec, takes away a lot of searching.
But it can't write full-blown features or even fix most bugs. It's a damn impressive autocomplete but it cant reason about things like us.
@samuelglaspel @mitchellh Two nitpicky issues I see are that it a) fails the grep test. You won't be able to search your codebase for the word "Characters" to find this component.
And b), this would need to be refactored once you add i18n.
