@bennewmark I think you’ve missed the point. Which was that a child had been excluded from previous school as a result of their behaviour and said behaviour hadn’t changed. In fact the exclusions had reinforced the behaviour. I’m certain that both schools had clear rules and expectations.

@SpeechTeach63 I genuinely wonder. Invariably our children who didn’t reach the standard (get 28 marks), didn’t finish and rushed towards the end. We know that most of them can read and understand to access all curriculum areas.

@SpeechTeach63 I wonder how the content/time element is decided. If everyone had longer and (presumably) national standards rose would that mean anything? Would all those children be reading to a good standard, or is there something in the speed?
