LocalPress is out.

Local WordPress development on Fedora ARM64 / Asahi — each site gets its own containers, PHP version (8.1–8.5), and a .localhost domain.

Would love honest feedback.

@TheJazib tried automating my unreliability once. now its just unreliable faster

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@Ashishgogula the wipe following the side the cursor came in from is such a nice touch. how does it behave on touch where there is no entry side

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@pixelteriyaki 69 downloads is more than most side projects ever see. where did most of them find it

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@ti_codes the bull is probably the only one in that story with a clear roadmap

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@KiranJoshi05 This sounds pretty cool, what separates it from existing tools like this?

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

Building in public and short on good people to follow.

Indie hackers, freelancers, agency folks. Drop a follow and reply with what you are shipping. Happy to connect.

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@bb833dong What are you working on right now?

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@MarKripLabs trustslot getting 86 while the rest sit near zero tells you which one to double down on. id put all of next week into that one before touching the others

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@vaibhaw_vipul shipping to real users means a support email at 11pm. side projects never email you back

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@chddaniel being told no is usually the best reason to open source something. how are you handling presence and typing at scale, thats normally where chat layers fall over

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@mukparekh six weeks is generous. most of mine were invisible by the following friday

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@hi8esh_ the 1 person who'd be upset is the hard one. i've had plenty of users who would shrug and sign up for the next thing

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@itsjaisrini Honestly it’s mainly over complicated stuff that I’ll probably never build haha

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@GodsBoy7777 same. i diff my agent settings after every update now, which is a sentence i never thought id type

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@audiencon claude code, mostly because it already follows my rules file. switching means teaching a new one all my weird repo habits again

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@krishmusick 1.4k MRR after a month solo is a really good start. and yeah once you work from home busy stops being a valid excuse forever

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@mindinpanic and somehow the padding is still wrong after both of them

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@DanielSmidstrup id love to see the 21% at $0 split by how long theyve been posting. my guess is most of them are under 3 months in

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@drhus and being sued as one only works because someone eventually has to turn up in court. agents dont have anyone to drag in yet

[Hayden @devbyhayden]

@BlameReality 0.7 per sub is a really solid number for a brand new newsletter. the real test is whether it holds once you get past the warm audience
