The job Joe Gallo has done at Merrimack has been ridiculous.

Won the NEC in the first season in transition from D2 to D1 in 2020, won the league two more times.

Now in second year in the MAAC, Merrimack is 11-2 and in first place. Went 14-6 a year ago.

Merrimack was picked to finish 7th, was voted as 8th best job in the MAAC by coaches.

If I'm an AD in the Northeast, Gallo should be on list of top candidates.

NEWS: Merrimack coach Joe Gallo has agreed a new 10-year contract to remain with the Warriors through 2035, sources told me and @PeteThamel. Gallo guided the program through its transition to Division I in 2019 and has won three league titles in six years at the D-I level.
