In 24 hours I built my own Figma clone and custom MCP.

Then told Codex: “Import this Dribbble design as native frames/layers, add motion design + mobile responsiveness, and turn it into a Next.js site.”

It executed perfectly.

@harro_sc It says 1 engineer and with the pro AI subscriptions cost is just time. It was free to clone this SaaS due to how much usage and tokens you can get with the subs. For ex: in raw api costs codex would have cost me 15k last month. Guess how much I actually spent. Thats just 1 sub.

Switched to codex and gpt-5.6 sol because the desktop app and models are just infinitely better. I thought I would miss the claude code CLI or the cursor chat window but this is another level. The only thing missing imo is better multi-chat view support.
