Alright. For realsies now! LAST Mina thing! :V
I had an idea to put in a roll (Which I discovered the Hammer had), and a new special mechanic not in the game! (I think?)
Also gave her a playground to fight in!
Enjoy! :D
@denisbondare Yeah. Anything with a contrasting color to the green.
The moss is green-on-green, so it acts more as detail to the green, as opposed to noticeable.
And due to Gestalt Principles, or "Cognitive Overload", the brain just sees green- especially with how noisy the visuals are.
@Smdster There are very rare instances where something can go wrong.
Asking also creates a pause state, so no one makes any sudden actions that could cause an issue.
It does also have to do with ownership and respect for the other player.
@EfeoVI Teaching is a skill, and learning is a skill.
You can't teach if you can't word the answer for someone else's way of thinking.
The difference between saying and explaining.
You can't learn if you can't ask the right questions.
The difference between hearing and understanding.
@JohnnyDCatholic Hol' up. HOL' UP!
Is this the comparison?
The 3D thing isn't part of the point.
That's unrelated, as said by the OP.
Left is Ai, right is original?
@Cutlaska For comparison: This would be like if FFVIII put a demo out that was just Triple Triad.
You do need a funnel of some kind though, be it here for updates, or a Steam Page.
But you definitely need to show, in some way, of what the game will be- other than the minigame.
@drit__ Crazy. I literally did "A" yesterday.
No applause, please. :V
But the next time you have a chance to do a small nice thing for someone you don't know- that's like, totally me.
So as a thank you for saving the world, just do the small nice thing. Just do it. Come on.
Or else...
@WeaselPit That's not even a credible threat.
Don't pay them a dime.
If they believed their version would sell, why the hell would they settle for $200?
What we're seeing here is a future scam.
> Copy game
> Looks playable, but barely is
> Threaten for $
@alchimique I mean. Little talks like this are good.
There's really no solution, so you're fine.
Well, other than explaining to everyone that saying "I don't miss you" can be seen as problematic. lol
But these small convos can reach others.
Maybe someone saw us and went, "Oh. Now I know."
@alchimique But that's just it, there is no preconceived notion.
"Many people see" is irrelevant. It's like a colorblindness to "missing".
Someone can't say something if they do not know that they should say it in a certain way.
You can't hammer a red nail if you can't see the red nail.
@alchimique That's the thing. It's not about shock or bluntness- unless that friend was just being a jerk on purpose.
To summarize it, it's like, "Why miss something I trust is there? It's like it never left." So it's confusing if someone suggests I did not have that trust, and I'm like-
@alchimique Granted... There was a time where I said I didn't miss someone too. Maybe a few times.
It wasn't until someone said how they felt that it clicked that I shouldn't actually SAY I didn't miss them.
A straight river flows the same 'til something diverts its movement! :V
@alchimique As someone that constantly has this feeling- and I hate that I do.
Through introspection I've learned that,for me, it's because I am confident I will see them again.
However, I will miss someone when they are gone, because I am now confident I will never see them again.
@SupapunchDev Nah nah. The glowing bits.
Like, on old Nokia phones, and due to obvious limitations, the snake would move with that pixel "skip".
So a player would have to notice a pattern of the glowing honeycombs moving, and move with it.
