In Miami heading to Mexico. Bought a @Delta ticket. Checked in via Delta app. Went to Delta terminal. Got to the airport early enough to go to Delta Lounge. I've got the right Amex card for Delta Lounge access. Told I cannot enter because the flight is operated by Aeromexico 😡⁉️

Throughout my career I've interviewed HUNDREDS of software engineers over the phone and video calls, therefore I CAN CONFIDENTLY STATE THIS AS A FACT: 1 in every 10 software engineers happily goes about their day (and does job interviews) with a smoke detector in their home doing the low battery chirp every 30 seconds or so...

There are two mindsets we software engineers can have regarding AI:

"Everyone can write code now; my skills are becoming obsolete"

or

"I now have the power to automate EVERYTHING. I'm a software engineer, product manager, marketer, content creator, designer, lawyer, and business person. I'm a technologist."

The interesting part, each of those specialists has the opportunity to adopt the same mindset.
