@elonmusk Is there some technical reason grok hasn't been rolled out to older (2021) Teslas? Seems inference is happening in cloud, not care hardware. Why limit to newer hardware?
In Miami heading to Mexico. Bought a @Delta ticket. Checked in via Delta app. Went to Delta terminal. Got to the airport early enough to go to Delta Lounge. I've got the right Amex card for Delta Lounge access. Told I cannot enter because the flight is operated by Aeromexico π‘βοΈ
@dok2001@Cloudflare Not if you want all your infra in one place. I'm running https://t.co/BzPXxyq9c6 on workers and D1. Had to implement auth.js and depend on Resend for transactional email. Both auth and email feel like things that should be part of the Cloudflare platform imo
Throughout my career I've interviewed HUNDREDS of software engineers over the phone and video calls, therefore I CAN CONFIDENTLY STATE THIS AS A FACT: 1 in every 10 software engineers happily goes about their day (and does job interviews) with a smoke detector in their home doing the low battery chirp every 30 seconds or so...
@youkhna Random thought for you Andre, I suspect this post wouldn't have popped like it did if you had the minimal launcher on the screen. The familiarity of "oh wait it runs full android too" is what caught my attention - now I realize I need one.
There are two mindsets we software engineers can have regarding AI:
"Everyone can write code now; my skills are becoming obsolete"
or
"I now have the power to automate EVERYTHING. I'm a software engineer, product manager, marketer, content creator, designer, lawyer, and business person. I'm a technologist."
The interesting part, each of those specialists has the opportunity to adopt the same mindset.
Why don't presidential candidates name their entire cabinet ahead of the election? Feels like an important point of differention between any two candidates... (Even if the Senate ends up blocking some of those cabinet members)
