@MarkJCarney @fordnation @CanadianPM are we listening?

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

@MercedesBenz Ich frage mich, wie Reparaturen gegenüber Neuanschaffungen priorisiert werden können. Das ist doch Nachhaltigkeit, oder?

I want to support my neighborhood @sobeys store, but they keep disappointing in terms of billing errors, lack of basic products like pizza dough, decaf beans and never competes on the pricing. I'll probably take my business elsewhere.

Beware of @Instacart! Was charged for US membership in USD, while all my transactions are on Canadian soil & networks! They created a US account automatically & make customer service onerous! Even my account profile didn't show this sub! @ONconsumer @CBCNews @ConsumerCanada

I always have the worst experience with @scotiabank .
Call customer care- they hang up on you.
Request a call back- it never comes!
Online banking links- dysfunctional, or do not exist! @MoneySense @Trustpilot

Power outage in @myRichmondHill since 12 PM and @alectranews has not figured reason in last 7 hrs! I went to see if anyone is working, couldn't spot any crew at about 5 PM. @YorkRegionGovt #RichmondHill

@311Toronto My 4 yo daughter was quite traumatized visiting this porta potty at #PortUnion. No water in water fountain either. @PortUnionTO

@rajcheerfull @SwatickMajumdar @Zoomcar_India What are you talking about? I'm trying to connect to a person at ZoomCar to clarify their modification policy. There is NO personal support and no phone number whatsoever.

Hope at least now, powerful people start asking right questions- why are we getting so many forest fires? Why so many cyclones, draughts, floods, epidemics? How can we reduce them? What MUST we do? Sorry, told you so! @THR @FoxNews @UniStudios @Disney @jimmyfallon @GhibliUSA

@unlimited_ls You know the real culprit? Lobbying restaurant industry who still pays $2/hr to restaurant workers.

[Devansh Sharma @devthinks]

@Airbnb - We're watching- when you surge your prices many times, when you take advantage of customers (both renter and owner), when you skew the industry pricing- we are watching. @vrbo , @bookingcom. @Lodgify - you have huge opportunity. Don't sell out!

[Devansh Sharma @devthinks]

@FinanceCanada @cafreeland @JustinTrudeau @fordnation @ONfinance @PBethlenfalvy Let's ask this honest Q to @FinanceCanada and @ONfinance - what would be the corresponding increase in #EarlyChildhoodEducator wages if tax money being returned to public were to fund #ECEs? @AECEO @ChildCareON @CUPEOntario @CCCF_FCSGE @ECEBC1 @10aDayPlan @davitt_ebony

[Devansh Sharma @devthinks]

@FinanceCanada @cafreeland @JustinTrudeau @fordnation @ONfinance @PBethlenfalvy - cheques of $200 or $250 won't improve general life quality. Invest taxpayer money where it matters- increase salaries of early childhood educators, nurses, open hospitals, and arrest inflation!

[Devansh Sharma @devthinks]

@FinanceCanada @cafreeland @JustinTrudeau @fordnation @ONfinance @PBethlenfalvy Investing in early childhood educators is most critical- you want to bring in the brightest minds to take care, nurture and train the kids - future of this country and the world!

What the hell is wrong with this world? Kids need to be protected from these crazy people. 🤮

[Celine against The Machine @celinevmachine_]

"Age-appropriate pornography information" they say.

Oh, you mean like this? The literal sex guide written for children that won book of the year?
We know that "Respectful Relationships" content is causing a lot more problems than it's solving, yet they keep shoving this stuff into school curriculums.

Fuck sake, just LEAVE KIDS ALONE.
