Awami League people can’t help themselves, which is behaving like absolute louts and being an all-round liability for Bangladesh.
This morning, as Mr Asif Nazrul (Adviser of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, Cultural Affairs) was leaving Geneva for Dhaka, he was cornered by @albd1971 cadres (Nazrul Islam Zamader. President Switzerland Awamileage, photo attached and Shaymol Khan, Genarel secretary Switzerland Awamileage photo attached and others). I am just baffled that these louts could get so close Mr Nazrul, arguably the second-most important person in the interim government — just where is the protocol from the @BDPM_Geneva?
Why did the @SwissMFA@SecurityPolCH@EDA_DFAE did not provide any form of security? Why is the security staff at @GeneveAeroport allowing these louts to harass a high-ranking foreign government official? I don’t think the airport security staff at the Dhaka airport would allow such activities. I am sure @SwissAmbBD would agree!
I hope the @BDMOFA also demands an explanation from the Bangladesh mission in Switzerland for the utter disrespect shown to Mr Nazrul. Last year, when his predecessor came, the entire embassy staff came to see him off, complete with security. Here, they sent just a chauffeur and one low-ranking staff. Also, why is the embassy’s website still displaying photos of Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman? I gather that Switzerland, even the embassy, is Gopalganj-3.
This is unacceptable behavior all-round and I hope the interim government looks into it with exigency.

@subyroy@JonFDanilowicz@ChiefAdviserGoB@subyroy what do you even know about Bangladesh? It seems like you are saying people of Bangladesh had democracy under Dictator Hasina and now not under @ChiefAdviserGoB? Dig more information before you post such nonsense!

This is further evidence of how pro-Hasina and pro-Modi lobbyists are seeking to make #Bangladesh a partisan issue in the U.S. If I were @ChiefAdviserGoB, I would not respond to this message. during the heat of the U.S. campaign.
Should @realDonaldTrump win Nov 5, the interim government should reach out to his team to correct misperceptions that persist in the U.S. about Bangladesh. There is no reason why there should not be a bipartisan consensus in Washington about supporting Bangladesh’s reforms leading to the first free elections in over 15 years.
@realDonaldTrump Till now I thought @X platform where everyone get the actual news! But now it’s clear to me that everything is paid! All minority game are fake and you are believing it without verifying anything! And do you even know anything about the minority in India?
@Rosalind_rose8@shoopdahoop1@revolt_71 They have to pass their good deeds to next one. If it’s two times then he will get chance 10years. In this 10 year (s)he should prepare next one! Otherwise if (s)he got old and no one out there to take his/her place then that will be more problematic!
I had a very productive meeting today with Hon. Finance and Commerce Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed.
We discussed how the UK can support the Interim Government undertake economic reforms.
