@CL207 I have one of these and I love it. I bought it via business purchase order for just over 10k around release. Looks like they go for under that now on Amazon, is it more expensive where you’re at?
@paxtechnica@crypto_condom@grok @ChatGPTapp @GeminiApp If this was true then you would see the hash rate dropping and staying down and this is not the case. Do you have some other information that leads you to believe that?
There’s a good number of sources that quote miners having 8-9% of the supply, they have sell power for sure
@davetist@aj6145643879618 Yes your point stands that the current model isn’t sustainable long term, I was just clarifying for aj that storage space/tx history is not really a part of this discussion
@aj6145643879618@davetist Validator nodes already remove history more than a few days old. The hardware requirements are a consequence of the speed focused async design more than storage needs
@_breasoft@HardSnipe being PAID and promoting a scam is a crime. shilling likely isn't, and they'd also have to prove the fraudulent stuff going on first
@real_y22 SOLETH can fall over 30% and still make a higher low, so it’s tough to read in the short term. I think SOLBTC is more interesting to track. It’s much closer to making a new low or holding, and it never made the ath vs btc. We need to see if Sol gains against btc when its bullish
@Alan_ETHODL@OrlandoG85@Justin_Bons Yeah it probably centralizes further over time. Things like swqos also incentivize concentrated stake, ie fewer validators. But remember revenue scales with TPS (firedancer or async execution) and there are Jito tips. So demand for blockspace is a big factor to consider
@OrlandoG85@Justin_Bons It’s already at a point where only high net worth individuals can run a validator. Ask yourself if 2000 or so validators is decentralized enough for you, and if paying next to nothing with 1000s of TPS is worth that trade off. You can’t have speed without hardware
@ItsZijZ @pumpdotfun It will cause people to trend towards bonding curves that are more filled vs brand new ones. The rest will be an endless see of spam
@DegenApeAcademy @pumpdotfun Honestly will make it much harder for the sniping bots to be profitable but will cause even more trash for everyone to sift thru. I’ll take it
@AutismCapital ChatGpt is the fastest adopted product in the world of all time. More than 100m users in 3 mos or smth, which beats the iphone. hard to say its unused
