WIT-D14: OTs of 36th SFS-IC went on a 8 km long trek through Mt. Abu WLS. During the trail they learned identification of wildlife movement patterns, flora and fauna of WLS, encroachment problems, etc. Their exploration continued with a captivating visit to Sajjangarh BP also.

WIT-D4: OTs of 36th SFS-IC embarked a visit to World Forestry Arboretum, Jaipur. Later interacted with Sh A. Tomar (IFS), PCCF (WP), and other senior forest officials at Aranya Bhawan. Also visited Nahargarh BP and Rescue Centre during afternoon, and have gone for Lion Safari.

On Day 4 of North India Tour, OTs of 36th SFS Induction Course (2022-24 Batch) along with Dr T Beula Ezhilmati (IFS), Lecturer, @casfosddn did Bird Watching in Jim Corbett Village. Shri Mohan Pandey (Nature Guide) showed them numerous places related to Corbett's life.

Day-3 of NIT: OTs of 36th SFS IC @casfosddn visited Van Nigam, Ramnagar. Harish Pal (RM) & Jagdish Singh (DSM) briefed about the role of UFDC and explained procedures of auction. OTs also interacted with Sh Dheeraj Pandey (IFS), FD & DD of CTR at Interpretation Centre.

As a part of the ongoing action plan for Mission LiFE, the Officer Trainees of CASFOS, Dehradun,did weeding, cleaning and tending of the medicinal plants which are nurtured in the 'Garden of Life' inside this campus.The result was overwhelming!

On 15.04.2023, OTs of 36th SFS IC along with Dr. T Beula (IFS) and Sh Ankit Gupta (Sci-C) of @casfosddn visited Lachhiwala Nature Park to learn about Sal Forest, signs and trail of Elephant, Electric Fencing. OTs experienced the entire beautiful layout of Park.

On 25.07.2022, a lecture on Wildlife Conservation Scenario in India was delivered by Dr. Dhananjay Mohan (IFS), PCCF, UK, for OTs of 36th SFS 2022-24 batch. OTs were briefed about the scenario of Indian Ecosystem, Protected Area Networks, Conservation Challenges and way forward.
