Found only in Cuba, the bee hummingbird (or zunzuncito) is the world's smallest bird & also the vertebrate with the highest metabolic rate.

They weigh 2 gr, have a wingspan of 3.5cm & breath 20 times per second when flying & their heart beats over 1000 times per min!
