In 1974, stuntman Loren "Bumps" Willert performed a corkscrew flip (360 degrees in mid-air) in an AMC Hornet X for "The Man With the Golden Gun."
Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory planned and tested the stunt using computer simulations for the first time.
He was given a $30,000 bonus after successfully completing the flip, filmed in one take.
Ethan Fleck (‘27, Cedar Rapids, IA) consistently challenged hitters around the zone and showed swing-and-miss potential. FB sat 71-74 and topped at 75, also flashed a CB. Highly projectable 6-foot-2, 170 pound frame.
